Tried this place for the first time. Cozy place with good service and tasty food. House Ramen was very good. Pad Thai Ramen was a fabulous take on Pad Thai. A little sushi appetizer and some good drinks made this a place we will definitely return to visit again.
What a great find! Lunch for partner & I - duck spring rolls - crunchy and hearty. I had the house ramen with extra chicken. Absolutely delicious and amazing! Broth was hearty and filled with veggies & shrimp and pork. I added chicken. Ended up taking some home! So flavorful! Partner had Cambodian chicken & rice. Again, outta the park with flavor & presentation. Plum wine. Yum! No room for dessert. Highly recommended!
We had appetizers crab Rangoon, dumplings, tuna sushi, Bham Mi and KFC sliders all was delicious. Service was little off but she did her best. They have outdoor as well as inside seating we decided to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful day.
If you're looking for something new/fusion Khon's is definitely a must try place. From the point you walk into the restaurant you feel welcomed by the staff. Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. The tapas to the main dishes every bite was delicious. The cocktails were amazing too. Please make sure to make reservations as the location is quite busy and small. Totally wroth the wait as you can go walking around in downtown.
Inside is very chic, very new age, although small, seems to utilize its space quite well. Staff was in a good mood, not very "slap on a smile while I panic" at all. Portions on the krab rangoons are a little small, but presentation and flavor made up for almost all of it. Ramen was delicious, I couldn't even finish it all because it was so big. They ran out of Bok Choy so they subbed with extra shrimp, I personally don't eat shrimp a lot but it still made the ramen really good. It's a little pricey for sure, but it's worth a trip or two.
Khon's was a little smaller than expected. But the food and service were great! We started with the spring rolls, Krab Rangoon, and edamame. We loved all 3! The spring rolls were crispy, the rangoons were creamy, and the edamame was salty. We tried the lychee martini and Mojo. The first lychee martini was good but we ordered another one and it did not come out the same. The Mojo was delicious. It's their take on a mojito so if you like mojitos you will like it! For entrees, we got the house ramen, the worx, the surf n turf, salmon nigiri, and salmon hand roll. Everything was fresh and delish. The one downside was that the food took forever, but I think they try to bring out everything at once if possible. Khons is a great sushi spot if you're on near Palafox.
Wife and I came in for dinner while on vacation. Destiny served us and she was amazing! Super friendly, conversational, was always there ready with refills, and had a great smile along with a pleasant attitude. The staff were also very considerate and checked in on us regularly. The food was absolutely delicious!!! We ordered the edamame with chili and lime, which we do not regret cause it was super flavorful with a hint of spice. We also got the Banh Mi Slider which were nice and juicy. My wife ordered the Dragon roll and the Worx, which we will definitely be getting again when we come back. Overall, I can't rate the customer service and the food highly enough!
